Filtration glass Garofiltre

Filtration product consisting of glass grains to be used in place of sand in filters.

It is made of 100% recycled and polished glass. Once in contact with water, the glass generates free radicals limiting the proliferation of bacteria and the formation of biofilm in the filter. In this way, filtration is improved and the formation of chloramines is reduced. Filtration up to 10-15 microns.

Sacks of 20 kg. (equal to a sack of sand of 25 kg.)- Grain size 0.7 - 1.3 mm.

Backwashings are shorter compared to those of quartz sand since glass limits the accumulation of impurities and reduces the deposit of limestone.
